Checklist For Choosing Small Parti Yorkies For Sale

By Jason Myers

There are different varieties of dogs that exist. Those who are interested in buying some could consider going to an animal shelter where homeless animals hope to find new owners. Another option would be the rescue homes that are more or less the same as shelters. Certain breeders may opt to sell some of their animals. Those interested in small Parti Yorkies for sale need to consider the following details.

Assess the animal you want to purchase. Choosing from a variety of puppies may be difficult. However, their behavior can set them apart. There are those that come off quite friendly while others are timid and keep to themselves. Others may bully their siblings or may be playful and stay well with others. Future owners should identify the traits that they think are best as this will help with selection.

Ensure it is of good health. Visits to a veterinarian are essential. The current owners need to prove that they have done this a couple of times. New owners need to go home with healthy animals that are not likely to spread disease in the new environment they are moving to. Clear eyes are an indicator of good health.

Have little knowledge about the breed. In case someone tries to sell something different, you will be aware. The fur color has three distinct colors usually brown, black and white. The coat can grow quite long, and owners can decide to trim it or simply groom it. This breed is quite small, with a friendly personality. Studies have shown that it is quite intelligent.

Examine the parents of the puppies. Since they are much older, they will give potential buyers an idea of how the puppies may look in a couple of years. The state of the parents will also indicate whether the breeder or previous owner was taking good care of them. In case the parent is sickly, this is something that can be expected of the young ones.

Buy from a reputable seller. This should be someone who knows how to handle the Parti Yorkie and stocks this breed. These individuals should be able to provide information to any interested buyer to prove that they are selling the right breed. The papers provided should show the family line of the dog and its hereditary characteristics among other important details.

Research the price of these hounds. These dogs can be sold at different prices. However, the pure breeds are likely to be expensive. Most people prefer buying the cheaper ones as long as they are close to the variety they were interested in. Those who pay lots of money should make sure that fake sellers are not taking advantage of them.

Change things up to suit the puppy. Having a puppy in the home can be hectic. It needs space to poop and sleep. It also needs food set aside for it to eat when it feels hungry. Special dishes separate from those of the family, need to be bought for this purpose. The food provided needs to be clean and have the right nutritional requirements for these growing puppies.
