Chicken Seasoning Rub Makes Poultry Dishes Better

A restaurant style meal is possible. Even after a long day or when it seems like natural energy is at a zero. There are many shortcuts a person can take to make meals that sizzle and full of flavor. Meal preparation products, like chicken seasoning rub, are great for those who put in long hours but want a home cooked meal in little time.

People who love to cook are willing to try new and unique things for a number of reasons. They may be a professional foodie with a popular blog or enjoy experimenting with food and new techniques. While dry rubs are not really new, they are becoming popular.

Although these meatless products are great for cooking on a stovetop or baking, cooking over an open fire requires a different approach. The fire should be low to avoid dry edges and a high heat oil may be needed for a little lubrication. Also, the person doing the cooking should keep an eye out so that the food does not scorch since there is little animal fat to prevent sticking.

Otherwise, these products can be seasoned in the exact same fashion. Many home cooks find that using a quality rub with meatless chicken products is best since these tend to be lower in sodium. The salt content is less expensive seasoning blends can compromise the flavor and make the cooking process a little more of a challenge.

When a quality rub is used for beef, poultry, or dense fish, there is no need to let sit overnight or even an hour. Once the product is applied to meat or seafood of choice, it can go in the oven or grill. For those who are short on time, here are a couple of tips for making an entire meal in less than half an hour.

There are many flavor varieties for chicken, pork, and beef.that are ideal for the grill, stovetop, or oven. Some people like the hickory smoke or mesquite flavors when they want the outdoor taste from indoors. Others may like to try those inspired by international cuisine like Carribean jerk. Sriracha, or sweet Hawaiian style.

Reduced cooking time is also great for those who do not like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Meat can be tricky for those who are unfamiliar with temperatures or when to use low heat. Since many meatless products are sold in smaller portions, some of these can be cooked on the stovetop using medium heat for no more than ten to fifteen minutes.

For those who want to try using a rub, the process is fairly simple. Just add a thin layer to any fleshy or porous surface on the meat. While it may be tempting to slather a thick layer over a whole chicken with skin, it is best to let sit for a few hours before placing over a fire. Although flavorful skin can be good, getting down to the flesh is where the sustenance begins.
